.ro Domain Renewal – RoTLD Launches Annual Registration System from March 1, 2018
RoTLD announced the launch of the annual registration and maintenance system for .ro domains, effective March 1, 2018, introducing significant changes for domain holders in Romania.
RoTLD, the registry responsible for .ro country-code top-level domains, announced the implementation of an annual registration and maintenance fee system for all .ro domains starting March 1, 2018. This change affects all domain holders and registrars operating within the Romanian domain space.
Under the new rules, domain owners are required to renew their registrations annually. Failure to renew on time may result in domain expiration and loss of the name. GMB Computers recommends that all clients review their domain portfolios and set up automatic renewal to avoid service interruptions.
